Resistance Radio-NOLA 5-27-2019: REEP Now
This week we are joined by Dr. Laura Cheever, Chief Medical Officer for the HIV/AIDS Bureau of the Health Resources and Services Administration who talked with us about her work to raise awareness and educate the public about Hepatitis C and the plan to eradicate the disease in Louisiana. We were also joined by Lydia Winkler, Founder of REEP Now a non-profit that provides free advocacy and representation during parole proceedings to folks impacted by the criminal justice system. We also have an update on the City Council’s deliberations on the New Orleans Short Term Rental Ordinance. All this and more on this week’s episode of #ResistanceRadio!
