Living Well in the Big Easy presents THE MYSTIC KREWE OF BARKUS!  Co-founder Ken French and Board Director Catherine Olivier will be our guests to discuss the origins, themes and royal courts of Barkus, now in their 28th year!

Mystic Krewe of Barkus, the only officially licensed Mardi Gras Krewe for canines, will be traveling back in time when parachute pants, leg warmers, shoulder pads and volume perms coiffed with heavy gel was an admirable look and stainless steel DeLoreans were common with the theme Bark to the Future: Barkus Returns to the 80s. The krewe will take to the streets of the French Quarter on Sunday, February 16, 2020, at 2 pm!
